I am Abdul Qadir Jilani. I was born in 1077 AD in the city of Baghdad, Iraq. It is the time of Sultan Wali Ilahi-Din Mohammad Ghuri Shah Gilaki (1225 AD). I studied Arabic calligraphy, mathematics and philosophy to become a scholar like my father. After 24 years, I left Baghdad because of controversies which occurred among Muslims and closed religious schools. Throughout my life I lived a very simple life. My father was a hafiz of the Quran and Hadith and a great scholar of philosophy. He taught me the way of the Holy Quran and Hadiths, their literal meaning, interpretations and their scientific significance. In addition to this, he taught me how to apply different names for Allah Almighty. The name "Ameerul Momineen" (Leader of the Faithful) was presented to me by my father at the age of 15 years. At an early age, I started memorizing religious books. My father used to teach me different Islamic words and correct interpretations of them at home too. That is why I learned a lot from him in a short time. The ideas and understanding of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the blessings and treasures which come from him were very deep in my mind. His high status, his high principles and virtues were written so beautifully in the Quran and Hadith. I was so impressed by it that I memorize them as soon as I heard them: "Do not look at someone who has two faces; look at his inside instead." The Holy Prophet's (PBUH) life was full of lessons for me to learn from it. He was such a kind person that he never harmed anyone, even if he himself was harmed by someone else. He showed compassion to people who suffered from mental problems or caused difficulties or harm to others. This made me interested in the personality and character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and that is why I studied Islam deeply. This is my message to all of you. By Allah Almighty's grace, we should be aware of the true inner peace and happiness which reveal themselves through Islam. Let us remember that we are servants and slaves of Allah and He loves those who worship Him, because He says: "Allah will never leave a slave of His worshipping Him until he leaves this world as a Muslim." I want to tell you something very important. There are only two kinds of people in this world: those who follow Islam as a way of life and those who don't follow it as a way of life. The faces of those who follow it as a way of life are very beautiful and those who don't follow it as a way of life are ugly. If we want to find happiness, then we should follow Islam as a way of life. In this book, I will tell you the meaning and significance of the name "Ameerul Momineen" (Leader of the Faithful). I will also explain the meaning and significance of "Taqwa", praise, mercy and other names which I mentioned. The first part talks about my spiritual qualities and value institutions. The second part tells about my knowledge, learning methodologies and learning experiences from me to you. cfa1e77820
